ELIGIBILITY

  • Open to female amateur and professional golfers of all ages. See below for entry fees and priority acceptance.

 

ENTRY FEE/DEADLINE

  • All players are required to submit an entry by Monday, June 9, 2025.
  • Amateur golfers:
    • VSGA member: $200
    • Non-VSGA member (amateur): $250 (includes eClub membership)
  • Professional golfers:
    • MAPGA, LPGA members and associates: $250
    • Non-member: $400
  • Entry fee includes all course fees (including cart) for all rounds of competition, lunch for all rounds of competitions and additional planned functions.

 

FIELD SIZE/TOURNAMENT MAKE-UP

  • The field will be limited to 78 players with the following priority acceptance:
    • All former champions and all players making the cut the previous year
    • Top 20 amateurs from the 2024 VSGA Women’s Player Rankings
    • Top 15 amateur entries from WAGR rankings (top 20 amateurs from category above do not count in this total)
      • Top 10 amateur entries from WAGR rankings will be confirmed on May 5, 2025.
      • Remaining entries from WAGRA rankings will be confirmed on the event deadline. 
    • Top 10 MAPGA professionals from the 2024 Women's Player of the Year standings
    • Up to 15 additional professionals (Virginia residents receive priority)
    • Six spots will be reserved for the host club. 
    • If space permits, additional entries will be accepted based on the following:
      • The remaining spots will be split between Professionals and Amateurs.
      • Professionals will be accepted based on date entry was received.
      • Amateurs will be accepted based on Handicap Index as of the day of the deadline.

 

FORMAT

  • 54-hole, stroke play event
    • Cut to low 25 players and ties after 36 holes

 

PRIZES

  • The minimum purse of $25,000 will be awarded appropriately to all players making the cut.
  • Professionals will receive cash by direct deposit only.
  • Amateurs will receive gift certificates valid at Farmington Country Club.
    • This is a WAGR counting event.
